dispute over adoption law - Judicial Conference of Ministers has expressed his support for the full adoption rights for same-sex partnerships and urged the federal government to sign a corresponding European Convention. The chairman of the Justice Ministers' Conference, Hamburg Justice Senator Tim Steffen (Green), said after the fall meeting of the Ministers of Justice on Thursday in Berlin that the current limits to adoption laws, "not a systems approach" was. Homosexual couples is so far only the so-called step-child-adoption permitted. The decision of the conference voted against several state ministers, but will be without consequences. Federal Justice Minister Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger (FDP) said: "As is our coalition partners, however, will put the federal government has no initiative in motion." (Sat.)
